From 1976 to the present (for 50 years, therefore), first studying and then working at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. In 1987, he graduated with a master's degree in Astronomy in the area of Scientific Instrumentation. From 1989 to 1992, he carried out a research internship at the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nuclare (INFN) in Pisa, Italy, working on the Virgo Project, under the coordination of Professor Dr. A. Giazotto. In 1992, he presented his doctorate at the University of São Paulo (IAG-USP), Brazil, under the guidance of Professor Dr. José Antonio de Freitas Pacheco. From 1995 to 2000, he carried out a research internship at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) in São José dos Campos, Brazil. From 2001 to 2004 he taught Physics and Mathematics at the Faculty of Sciences and Letters of USP in Ribeirão Preto, SP. Since 2004 he has worked at FZEA-USP in Pirassununga, São Paulo, as an associate professor. He retired in 2019, but continues to teach as a Senior Professor.

Matthieu Ferry is French and is currently a PhD student at Beihang University (Beijing, China) where he conducts research related to dynamics and control of spacecrafts in the Martian system. He got his Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées Centre Val-de-Loire (Blois, France) and got his Master of Engineering in Aerospace Science and Technology at the Northwestern Polytechnical University (Xi'An, China). Furthermore, in September 2021 Matthieu Ferry took part in the European Space Agency’s Online CubeSat Design Training Week 2021, where the lectures were given by ESA experts and the aim was to propose a preliminary design for a 2U CubeSat to fulfill a given mission. In addition, Matthieu Ferry worked during two years as a System Engineer in Aircraft Environmental Control System at Alten Germany for Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg (Germany). His research field and interests notably include Guidance, navigation and control of spacecraft, Space exploration technologies, Model predictive control, Areostationary Mars orbit, Mars aerobraking.

Prof. Itzhak Orion is a senior researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Department of Nuclear Engineering. Prof. Orion's work involves collaboration with most of the medical radiation therapy institutes in Israel. His research activities concentrate on radiation physics, simulations, and method development. He received his B.Sc. (1990) in physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and M.Sc. (1993) in nuclear physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He received his Ph.D. (1998) in nuclear engineering at the Soreq Nuclear Center, Israel, in the field of calculations and simulations of radiation release after nuclear reactor accidents. Prof. Itzhak Orion is an expert in mathematical simulation methods for radiation theory, and for applications in the field of medical physics, and in radiation safety. He collaborates with the Monte Carlo calculations team at the high-energy laboratory at KEK, Japan.

Antonio de Jesús Moctezuma Castillo completed all his academic training in Mexico, focusing on the study of quantum correlations and their applications. He earned his bachelor’s degree in physics from the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas (2014–2017) and later obtained his master’s degree from the Universidad de Guanajuato (2020) with a dissertation titled “Quantum correlations on vector beams with cylindrical symmetry.” He is currently awaiting his Ph.D. defense, also at the Universidad de Guanajuato, where his research—“Symmetric spaces of qubits and Gaussian modes”—explores the interplay between symmetry and quantum systems.

Efstratios Kritikos is a Research Associate in the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Efstratios received his Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London and his B.Sc. with an integrated M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Thessaly. Efstratios also conducted research at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), in the Institute of Propulsion Technology and the Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology, and at the Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). Efstratios' research spans atomistic to macroscale investigations of multiphysics phenomena, using theoretical and computational approaches. Areas of interest include dusty plasmas, nanoparticles in reacting flows, and electromagnetic interactions in molecules and nanostructures.
